The short version
Numbers you enter into FitMeter calculators are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to our servers. We have no servers that receive your health data.
Calculator inputs
All arithmetic is performed client-side in JavaScript. Your weight, height, age, and other inputs remain on your device. We do not log, store, or transmit them.
We use sessionStorage to carry your profile across tools within a single browser session. This data is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab. We use localStorage to remember your unit preference (imperial or metric) and display theme (light or dark). This does not constitute personal health data.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which countries visitors come from, which tools are most used, and how many pages people visit per session. GA4 uses cookies. We load GA4 only after you have consented (in regions where consent is required).
Google AdSense
We serve advertisements via Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google's Ad Settings. We do not receive any health data you enter into our calculators from AdSense.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links, primarily to Amazon Associates. Clicking these links may set a cookie on the affiliate partner's site. We do not receive personal data through affiliate links. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal health data, there is nothing to request, export, or delete. For GA4 data, you may use Google's opt-out tools. For questions, contact privacy@fitmeter.app.
